About the event
As Winter Solstice and the end of the year approach, join us in a transformative journey of reflection, shedding, and completing through creating art. This macrame ritual invites you to become both the artist and the artwork, weaving the intricate threads of your life's journey into a tangible expression of your inner landscape.
Macrame is more than a craft—it is a metaphorical loom where each knot represents a moment, an emotion, a breath of experience. Weaving this piece will mirror our human experience: seemingly random threads gradually forming a meaningful pattern, with every intersection telling a story of connection and intention.
As your hands move through the weaving rhythm, the mind empties and the heart opens—revealing a tapestry of joy, grief, and gratitude for all that your story tells.
During this winter solstice portal, participants will:
- Receive a personal macrame weaving kit
- Learn a macrame knotting technique
