The Orders of love

Sometimes love in a family system becomes tangled.

Most of the time this does not happen because there was a lack of love. In fact, it often happens because of love. Out of loyalty and instinct, we may carry burdens, emotions, or responsibilities that did not begin with us.

The work of the Orders of Love, first observed by Bert Hellinger, helps us understand the natural principles that allow love to flow through a family system.

When these orders become disrupted, individuals can become entangled in the experiences of others in the lineage. A child may try to carry the pain of a parent, or someone may unconsciously repeat the fate of a family member who was forgotten or excluded.

Clarifying the Orders of Love allows us to gently see where these entanglements may be present.
